Woven Texoras are fabrics created by interlacing two distinct sets of yarns—warp and weft—at right angles to each other. This traditional technique, used for thousands of years across cultures, forms the foundation of many types of cloth, from delicate silks to sturdy denims.
The warp threads run vertically on a loom and are held in tension, while the weft threads are woven horizontally over and under the warp threads. The way these threads are interlaced defines the fabric’s strength, texture, flexibility, and appearance.
